This week on The Americana Highway we've got a sneak peak at the 2006 Americana Folk Festival which takes place on Saturday, October 21st at Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson, Tennessee. Jack Ryan's special in-studio guest will be Robbie Hecht - originally from Knoxville - who will be performing at this year's Americana Folk Festival.

Americana Highway #94 - October 8, 2006

This week on The Americana Highway we'll preview the upcoming 2006 Foothills Fall Festival by playing music from some of the great artists you'll find in concert at this year's festival.

The City of Maryville pulls out all the stops for this incredible three-day event, October 13th - 15th, with fun for the entire family. Crafts and artisans, a children's play area, lots of great food, and of course three days and nights of fantastic music.

Friday night features Sister Hazel, Shawn Mullins and Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer Buddy Guy. Saturday don't miss Jessica Harp and Michelle Branch - The Wreckers, plus Deana Carter, Andy Griggs, Rockie Lynn, and Clay Walker. Then make a return visit on Sunday for the festival finale including Wildfire, Carolina Rain, Little Big Town, and Randy Travis.
