Americana Highway #78 - June 18, 2006

Happy Father's Day!
.
As you can see from the photo above Jack is a very proud Papa this year with his precious Baby Rose getting bigger and bigger each day! And since it is Father's Day this weekend, what better way to pay tribute to all the great Dad's out there than with a musical tribute including the very best Bluegrass, Americana and Country tunes about Pops?
.
This week on WIVK's Americana Highway, as he celebrates his first Father's Day as a Father, Jack Ryan will be toasting Papaws everywhere with tunes from Dolly Parton, Lee Roy Parnell, Scott Miller, Lost & Found, Sonya Isaacs, The Del McCoury Band, Randy Travis, Reba McEntire, and many others!
.
As always, if there's a special song you'd like to hear on the show, just send Jack an email via jack@americanahighway.com or leave a message on this blog entry.
