Americana Highway - February 19, 2006

Knoxville, Tennessee! This week on The Americana Highway with Jack Ryan we turn the spotlight on the local music scene by playing some great bluegrass, Americana and country music from some of East Tennessee's best singers and songwriters. Now everyone knows the names Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins and Kenny Chesney...but when it comes to musical ability, the Knoxville scene is overflowing with talent...and WIVK's Jack Ryan will be playing some of the best from the Knoxville talent-pool this week on the show. Plus, the very special in-studio guest this week is Robinella who'll be stopping by to play some of the great new music off her latest Dualtone Records cd "Solace For The Lonely" which hits stores this Tuesday, February 21st. As always, if there is something you want to hear...this week or any week on the show...just email your request to jack@americanahighway.com.
